By accessing or using LearnXData, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the platform.
1. Educational Use Only
LearnXData provides an interactive coding sandbox for educational purposes. The platform, including the Python, R, and SQL execution environments, is provided "as is" without any warranties of any kind.
2. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to use the LearnXData platform to:
- Execute malicious code, viruses, or malware.
- Attempt to bypass, exploit, or hack the browser-based WebAssembly sandboxes or the underlying host servers.
- Mine cryptocurrency or execute high-compute tasks that are not related to the educational curriculum.
- Store sensitive, illegal, or highly confidential data in the notebooks.
Violation of these rules will result in immediate and permanent termination of your account.
3. Intellectual Property
All original content provided on LearnXData—including course curriculum, text, graphics, logos, platform design, and the AI evaluation logic—is the intellectual property of LearnXData and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works of our curriculum without explicit permission.
4. User-Generated Content & Code
Any code you write, datasets you upload, or text you input into our notebooks ("User Content") remains your property. However, by using our platform, you grant LearnXData a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display this content solely for the purpose of operating the service (e.g., auto-saving your playgrounds).
You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to upload and process any datasets or code on our platform. LearnXData assumes no liability for copyright infringement or data privacy violations resulting from User Content.
5. Third-Party Software & Open Source
LearnXData utilizes several open-source technologies to power its browser-based environments, including but not limited to Pyodide, WebR, and SQL.js. These technologies are distributed under their respective open-source licenses (e.g., Mozilla Public License, MIT). LearnXData claims no ownership over these underlying third-party execution engines.
6. Copyright Infringement
If you believe that any content on LearnXData infringes upon your copyright, please contact us immediately at support@learnxdata.com. We will promptly remove or disable access to the infringing material in accordance with applicable copyright laws.
7. Limitation of Liability
LearnXData is an ongoing project. While we strive to automatically save your code and progress, we do not guarantee against data loss. We are not liable for any lost code, interrupted sessions, or damages arising from the use or inability to use the service.
